So ...

... I didn't get that review posted yet. It's still a work in progress, and with work and Koihime Musou (the VN I plan to review after Wanko to Kurasou) keeping me away, it'll still be some time before I get it up there. But when I do, I will post that it has been put up. But I shall try to do it tonight, after I get a letter done.

In the good news section, I finally caught Suicune and Entei in my copy of SoulSilver! Yay!

Hatsune Miku on iTunes, Upcoming Review: Wanko to Kuraso

Hey, RavenholtEX here!

So, I'm a big fan of VOCALOID, most notably my favorites Megurine Luka and Hatsune Miku (Yes, in that order; Luka doesn't get enough love, guys). Regardless, I recently learned that supercell released an album featuring the most well-known songs by Hatsune Miku, songs like Melt, The World is Mine, and a few I didn't know about. I bought the album, and I'm loving it! The sound quality is really good, not like listening through YouTube or whatnot. If you like VOCALOID or Hatsune Miku at all, you should go buy the album, and help support the VOCALOID invasion (which is off to a rocky start, thanks to Toyota, in my opinion)!

In other news, later tonight I'll have my review of the eroge Visual Novel Wanko to Kuraso up on the Visual Novels page

This is the first real eroge I ever played, and I really enjoyed it, so I hope my review will do it justice.

Welcome to the Nest!

Hello, and welcome to the nest! I'm your blogger, RavenholtEX, and this is the launch of my nest, where I'll be talking about all my interests, which at the moment (as you can see by the Pages list) include old home console games, current home console games, portable games, webcomics, and visual novels. As we go along, and as I write more and more, the pages and things I'll share with you will expand, depending on what strikes my writing fancy.

As a gamer, I like all sorts of different styles and genres of games, from FPS all the way down to visual novels and dating sims, that sort of thing. I'll be covering all I can get my hands on (with what my extremely small budget can afford). I like things that are off the beaten trail (so a lot of JRPGs and visual novels fit that profile), and I'll be going over a lot of that in order to try and get the word out about these lesser-known games.

Thanks for reading!
